The main districts of Las Vegas to look out for are:
NORTH STRIP
The quieter, less-developed end of the Strip with more space and slightly less foot traffic. Still close to the main action but not as chaotic and hotels can be cheaper.
SOUTH STRIP
A little calmer than mid-Strip but still very active with many popular hotels like the Mandalay Bay, Luxor and Excalibur. More group and family-friendly with big pools and lots of entertainment including shows and sports events.
CENTRE STRIP / MID STRIP
The busiest, most premium part of the Strip with major hotels including Bellagio, Caesars Palace, The Venetian / Palazzo, The Cosmopolitan, Paris, Planet Hollywood. High-energy, luxury and you can walk to almost everything and offers the major Vegas feeling.
